Where creativity becomes an experience

aRound About Series

The BUS aRound About Series offers informal creative sessions for music, art, and performance where people come together to make, share, and explore ideas in a relaxed, supportive space. Part jam session, part studio, and part conversation, aRound Abouts are about creative connection—trying things out, learning from one another, and building community through the arts.

BUS Game & Film Jams bring creators together to imagine, prototype, shoot, edit, and build new works in a short burst of focused creative energy. Participants collaborate in teams, experiment with storytelling and technology, learn from each other, and push bold ideas into existence—often in just a day or a weekend. Whether you’re experienced or brand new, it’s a supportive environment designed for discovery, skill-building, and joyful making.

BUS Show Productions bring TV-style entertainment into satellite studios, community centers, bars, clubs, and creative spaces—turning them into pop-up production stages filled with energy, laughter, and local talent. These are live, audience-based experiences that feel part performance, part community event, and part studio taping. Many casts and crews grow out of BUS classes and workshops, giving emerging creators real opportunities to perform, produce, and shine.

Each show blends entertainment, storytelling, and participation—with rotating formats like talk shows, game shows, variety performances, trivia nights, creative challenges, music sessions, and more. Some are just for the night, and some become ongoing recorded series shared online.

Example Show Types:

  • “Uppa Late” – A local talk show featuring community guests & bands.
  • “Game Night Live” – A rotating quiz/game show created by students.
  • “Actin’About Live” – Sketch and improv nights turned into web episodes.
  • “Drawn’About Challenge” – Artists compete in creative timed rounds.
  • “Local Sound Sessions” – Live performances + short interviews.

A live, narrative-driven experience where the audience helps guide the story in real time using their mobile phones or simple interactive devices. Each session blends theatre, film, and game design—turning spectators into collaborators.
